No Really, I'm Fine
Laura, ED Social Work Manager, “Never Alone”
At a young age Laura was told, “you will see a lot of suffering.” While at first she was upset by this prediction, she now embraces this reality on a daily basis. In this poignant conversation, she shares how she was shaped since birthed to provide comfort and guidance to others in the midst of their suffering.
Since she was a child, Laura has cultivated a therapeutic presence that can help sustain others in the midst of crisis. Along the way, she’s come face to face with her own limitations and learned that taking care of yourself in these kinds of roles is a daily challenge.
Thank you Laura for honoring us with your touching, humorous and inspiring stories!
